Choosing the right question types in Cliniko when configuring your Treatment Note Template will ensure a better experience for your patients when filling out a form in Finger-Ink. 

It's important to know the different question types in Cliniko, how they match to the different question types in Finger-Ink, and each of their behaviour.

Text > Single Line Text Field

A "text" question in Cliniko is the equivalent to a single line text field in Finger-Ink. The answer to this question must fit on one line or else it will be cut off. If you're looking for a short, open-ended question this is a good option to choose.

Paragraph Text > Multiline Text Field

A "paragraph text" question in Cliniko is the equivalent of a multiline text field in Finger-Ink. The answer to this question can span multiple lines. If you're looking for a longer open-ended question, this is a good option to choose.

Multiple Choice > Single-Select

A "multiple choice" question in Cliniko is the equivalent of a single-select type question in Finger-Ink. Given a list of options, your patients are only able to choose one

Checkboxes > Multi-Select
