By default, Finger-Ink forms create a draft treatment note in Cliniko (you can learn how to change this behaviour here) which are authored by the practitioner who is seeing the patient.

If you're finding the treatment notes are being authored by a different practitioner though, you're most likely missing an API key.

When creating treatment notes, Finger-Ink looks for and uses the API key of the practitioner who is seeing the patient. If that API key is missing though, we instead fallback on the next available API key. This is so that the treatment note still gets created, albeit from a different practitioner.

So if you're treatment notes are being created as the wrong practitioner, check your API keys and make sure you've included each practitioner who is making use of Finger-Ink.
