Ever needed to hide something on the Form so the patient doesn't see it, but have it come through to the Treatment Note so that the practitioner can edit it? If you have, this article is for you!
Visibility conditions has entered the chat
Our Forms allow the definition of Visibility conditions on almost every element — sections, screens, fields & signatures. This allows you to define under what conditions you'd like the element to display. To access this, press the eye button next to the element you'd like to make conditional:
☝️ Applying a Visibility condition to an element will apply that same condition to all elements inside. E.g. adding a Visibility condition on a section will mean any screens inside that section will have the same condition applied.
How visible?
Visibility conditions have three main states:
Always show (on the Form and Treatment Note)
Hide during Form filling (so only appears on the Treatment Note)
Always show, but only when the conditions are met
Here's what that looks like when selecting the eye button next to the Administration section:
Let's see this in action
The video below puts it all together. A new section is created and defined as only visible on the Treatment Note. The Form is published, then filled (note how the Administration section doesn't display). Finally, the Treatment Note it created in Cliniko is edited, showing how we can add notes to the field that never displayed during Form filling.
