What do I need to use the Portal?

To use the Finger-Ink Portal, a relatively modern web browser is needed, along with a good internet connection or Wifi signal.

Browser requirements

Here are some popular browsers that work well:

  • Mozilla Firefox (Latest version)

  • Apple Safari (Latest version)

  • Google Chrome (Latest version)

  • Microsoft Edge (Latest version)

  • Opera (Latest version)

Internet connection

The Portal only works if your device is connected to the internet. A better connection will allow quicker loading times and a more responsive interface.

JavaScript

JavaScript must be enabled in your browser to ensure the portal functions correctly.

๐ŸŽ‰ Most browsers have JavaScript enabled by default. So if you don't know what this is, don't worry about it!

Turning on JavaScript if disabled

If JavaScript is disabled in your browser, you'll need to enable it. Here's how to do it in some popular browsers:

Mozilla Firefox:

  1. Type about:config in the address bar and press Enter.

  2. Click I accept the risk! to bypass the warning.

  3. Type javascript.enabled in the search bar.

  4. Double-click the javascript.enabled entry to toggle it to true.

Apple Safari:

  1. Click Safari in the menu bar.

  2. Select Preferences.

  3. Click the Security tab.

  4. Check the box next to Enable JavaScript.

Google Chrome:

  1. Click the three vertical dots in the top right corner.

  2. Select Settings.

  3. Scroll down and click Advanced.

  4. Under Privacy and security, click Site settings.

  5. Click JavaScript.

  6. Turn on Allowed (recommended).

Microsoft Edge:

  1. Click the three horizontal dots in the top right corner.

  2. Select Settings.

  3. Click Site permissions.

  4. Click JavaScript.

  5. Turn on Allowed (recommended).
