Since version 7.0.0 of the iPad app, the iPad kiosk has had the ability to display a hosted page allowing a number of actions to be performed on the kiosk itself.

Once of these actions is "leave a message":

When enabled, the hosted page gives kiosk users the ability to leave a message with your clinic. Here's what that looks like:

(the message page will redirect back to the main menu after a message is sent)

Where messages go

We didn't think sending you another email with each message was the way to go — so we put them in their own special spot inside the Portal, just under form responses:

Processing messages

When a message comes in, a green button appears on the messages inbox to prompt a refresh of the page. When the page is refreshed, your new message(s) will be displayed:

Clicking on an individual message will let you process it — i.e. take it out of the inbox list and put it into the actioned list.

Here's the screen for an individual message. Once you've dealt with whatever the message was about, just click the green button to move it out of the inbox:

That's messages! It's very new functionality, so please do get in touch if you feel we've missed something, or if you think it can be improved. Thanks!
